🃏 Card Collection
Kuro AI features a full collectible card system where every character has unique tradeable cards. Earn packs, build your collection, customize your cards with cosmetics, and trade with other users on the marketplace.
Getting Cards
Cards come from card packs, and packs are earned — not sold. Each pack contains one random card. There are two main ways to earn them:
Bond Packs
Interacting with characters earns pack XP. Every 200 XP = 1 free pack.
| Activity | XP Earned |
|---|---|
| Sending a gift | 1 XP per Krystal spent |
| Chat photo | 4 XP (8 with a custom model) |
| Video | Half the Krystal price |
| Chat message | 1 XP |
Gift XP counts for everyone. Chat, photo, and video pack XP require an active membership.
Battle Packs
Winning battles in the Waifu Ranking earns special packs with massively boosted rates:
| Pack | Where |
|---|---|
| Champion Pack | Ranking champion |
| Rival Pack | Rival victories |
| Contender Pack | Contender victories |
Every card you pull has randomly assigned attributes:
- Character — which character appears on the card
- Print Number — your copy number (e.g., #0001, #0042, #3000)
- Condition — the physical state of the card
Lower print numbers are rarer and more valuable. Print #1 (SP) is the rarest card possible!
Rarity & Print Tiers
A card's rarity is its print tier — the print number determines everything:
| Tier | Print Range | Color | Supply |
|---|---|---|---|
| SP (Single Print) | #1 only | Orange | Only 1 exists |
| Legendary | #2 – #10 | Gold | Only 9 copies |
| Epic | #11 – #100 | Purple | 90 copies |
| Rare | #101 – #500 | Blue | 400 copies |
| Common | #501+ | Gray | Unlimited |
SP, Legendary and Epic cards feature special visual effects like holographic shimmer and glowing borders.
The pity system improves your odds over time. If a tier is sold out for a character, the pull gracefully falls to the next tier down.
Card Condition
Each card is assigned a random condition when pulled:
| Condition | Chance at Pull |
|---|---|
| Mint | 10% |
| Excellent | 25% |
| Good | 40% |
| Poor | 20% |
| Damaged | 5% |
Condition never degrades over time — it only improves if you repair the card.
Condition affects the card's value and what customizations you can apply:
| Condition | Customizations Available | Stardust Value |
|---|---|---|
| Mint | All (frames, dyes, effects, morphs) | 100% |
| Excellent | All | 85% |
| Good | Frames, dyes, effects | 65% |
| Poor | Frames only | 40% |
| Damaged | None | 20% |
You can repair damaged cards using Stardust:
| Repair Step | Cost |
|---|---|
| Damaged → Poor | 10 SD |
| Poor → Good | 15 SD |
| Good → Excellent | 30 SD |
| Excellent → Mint | 45 SD |
| Total (Damaged → Mint) | 100 SD |
Card Variants
Cards come in different seasonal variants with unique artwork:
| Variant | Icon |
|---|---|
| Original | — |
| Summer / Beach | 🏖️ |
| Christmas | 🎄 |
| Halloween | 🎃 |
| Valentine | 💕 |
| Anniversary | 🎉 |
| Limited | ⭐ |
The same character can have a different card for each variant — collect them all!
Pity System
Kuro AI has a unique relationship-based pity system — and you can watch it work right in the chat's Gift Panel: a row of flames and a heart next to your pack progress.
- Pack Luck (the flames): your overall luck. The higher it burns, the more often a card you pull gets a rarity upgrade. It grows when you burn cards and when you send gifts — and the part earned by burning resets when you pull a Legendary or SP: your offerings were answered.
- Hearts: gifts to a character raise her card rarity odds and make her more likely to appear in your packs. Adding her to your wishlist boosts her odds even further.
The more you interact with a character, the better your luck with them. It's a bond thing.
Customizing Cards
You can personalize your cards using Stardust (SD), a currency earned by burning unwanted cards.
Available customizations:
| Type | What It Does | Cost Range |
|---|---|---|
| Frames | Decorative border around the card | 50 – 200 SD |
| Dyes | Color overlay on background/nameplate | 30 – 150 SD |
| Effects | Visual FX (sparkle, fire, holographic, sakura...) | 100 – 250 SD |
| Glows | Animated corner glow effects | Varies |
| Morphs | Change to a seasonal variant artwork | 300 SD |
| Fonts & Colors | Custom nameplate text style | Varies |
Remember: card condition affects which customizations you can apply. Mint cards get everything, Damaged cards get nothing.
Burning Cards (Stardust)
Don't want a card? Burn it to convert it into Stardust:
| Print Tier | Stardust Earned |
|---|---|
| SP (#1) | 4,000 SD |
| Legendary (#2-10) | 1,000 SD |
| Epic (#11-100) | 350 SD |
| Rare (#101-500) | 120 SD |
| Common (#501+) | 50 SD |
The final amount is multiplied by the card's condition (Mint = 100%, Damaged = 20%).
Burning cards also raises your Pack Luck — every burn adds a small boost to your rarity-upgrade odds. The luck earned by burning resets when you pull a Legendary or SP.
